One meal don’t make someone a good cook, I’d understand if there was a few meals that Gordon would of taught her but it was a simple leg of Lamb and scallops. If I ate that 3 times a day every day I would get fed up after a week. To me these visit are only good for the viewer as they can watch many episodes that they could get a feel for cooking.
If Gordon would do that at my place I would be bold and ask to be taught a few more meals and not just one

He said they were sharpening the knife, when they were really just honing it. An odd mistake to make, but perhaps he didn’t want to get technical. Unless they had some sort of cylindrical whetstone…
