Miracle Berries

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

So what are Miracle Berries you ask ? The Miracle Berry is a treefruit from Africa that magically makes sour and bitter products taste sweet. It can help you when you are craving for something sweet, or when you have diabetes, since you can obtain a sweet taste without having to use sugar or artificial sweetener. It is also useful for curbing obesity and preventing tooth decay. You can buy Miracle Berries from miracleberryshop.co.uk

I have a video here of Gordon Ramsay and oscar winning actress Juliette Binosh on The Graham Norton Show, trying out the berries.

How Miracle Berries work is, they block out certain taste receptors, so that the taste of some foods is altered, which can make them taste alot nicer. You can find more information and buy Miracle Berries from miracleberryshop.co.uk

Updating and Upgrading

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

If you have visited this website before, you probably noticed that we have changed the design of the site, and have upgraded some things. While the site is up and running again, you’ll probably also notice some (or alot) of bugs in the layout. Please allow a few days before everything is back to normal again and before I can start blogging again, as I don’t have too much time on my hands to do so at the moment.

You can use the “Contact” link again to send me email.

Alot of stuff still isn’t running as it should, but I’m working on that. I’m also working on restoring over 100 videos. After they are back up and running, I’ll start adding alot more material.

Random chit-chat

Wednesday, September 12th, 2007

Let me start by updating you on last week’s news. Apparently Gordon has burnt his balls by going commando. It was smeared all over the press, and it was bigger than any other Ramsay story recently. I don’t even know if the story is true or not, but a man burning his genitals must be good press, since about every newspaper has picked up the story.

For the foodtv downloaders amongst you, I recently discovered an excellent foodtv tracker. Unfortunately, it works with a ratio, and registrations are most likely closed. If you can still get in, I recommend you give it a visit. There are alot of brand new UK foodtv shows on there.

What’s new in foodtv ya say? I’ve recently been watching Rick Stein’s Mediterranean Escapes, unfortunately a little less interesting than his French Odyssey, but still very much worth watching. I’ve also been watching BBC’s The Restaurant, where couples battle for a business opportunity with chef Raymond Blanc. Nine couples open up their restaurant, and each week one is eliminated, until only one is left. Speaking about foodtv “game” shows, one of my favorites that I’ve been watching is Top Chef season 3, which has only a few weeks left until the finale. And not to forget Nigella’s new show, Nigella Express. It’s always fun watching Nigella cook, and according to her website, she has also recorded Nigella’s Christmas Kitchen, to air in December.

All the above shows can be downloaded from foresaid tracker, except for Top Chef, which you can find here. Also keep an eye out for Kitchen Nightmares, which starts in exactly one week!

Coming up next …

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

As the load of video recipes slow a bit down during the summer months, I will be bringing you a few other food related things. First up are some of the more interesting bits from the F-word, amongst other short food documentaries. I will be putting them in a new category called mini-docu’s.

Second are some of TV’s funniest moments, with celebrity chefs (Nigella Lawson, Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, …) visiting late night hosts such as Jay Leno, Conan O’Brien and David Letterman.

And to keep you really busy and satisfied through the summer I will post some of Gordon’s fast food recipes from the F-Word, and I’ll also try to put online more recipes from other chefs, that is, if they let me. I might just link them from other people, but I feel safer if they are in my own youtube account, so that they don’t get removed suddenly without me knowing.
